Independent fan project
MagicParkNews is an independent, just-for-fun planning and news project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. Disney and related names, characters, attractions and destinations are trademarks or property of their respective owners.
Information sources
- Powered by ThemeParks.wiki for live park hours, attraction status and wait-time estimates.
- Official Disney destination and cruise pages are used to verify factual details such as listings, dates, height requirements and transportation options. MagicParkNews uses original short summaries and links visitors to the official page for current details.
- News headlines identify reports from Disney Parks Blog, WDWNT, BlogMickey and Disney Tourist Blog. Short summaries on this site are independently written; complete reporting remains with the linked publisher.
- Crowd projections use a frozen one-time planning baseline and MagicParkNews’s continuing ThemeParks.wiki attraction-wait history. The original September 11, 2026–September 10, 2027 archive repeats by month and day without new external collection: September 11–December 31 uses the 2026 source date, and January 1–September 10 uses the 2027 source date. After each park has three full years of local history, its frozen 10% input retires automatically and a MagicParkNews three-year seasonal median takes its place. The source archive remains stored for audit and is never overwritten. Price forecasts are estimates, not quotes or guarantees.
Schedules, prices, availability and operating conditions change. Confirm decisions with the official provider before purchasing or traveling.
Images and credits
Non-resort Experience cards use destination-level photography from Wikimedia Commons under the credit and license linked directly on each card. These photographs identify the park or destination and are not presented as exact photos of every listed experience; original MagicParkNews artwork remains the loading-error fallback. Resort Experience cards reuse the same local photos already displayed by the Disney Resort Planner. Ownership and license records for those 34 local resort files are not included in this package. News cards may display an image supplied by the linked publisher’s feed or public preview metadata and label the publisher beside it; image rights remain with that publisher. Cruise ship photography is also sourced from Wikimedia Commons under the license shown beside each image. The MagicParkNews logo is an original identity created for this project.
If an administrator adds an affiliate image, the site operator is responsible for confirming that the image may be published and for recording any required credit in the private source register.
Privacy
The site’s first-party analytics count page views, Book a Trip clicks and affiliate-link clicks by date and page. This application does not add advertising cookies, browser fingerprints or user profiles to those counts.
Trip Hub save trip dates, budgets, ride-matcher preferences, transportation choices and My Disney Day items in your browser’s local storage so the tools work between visits. That information is not submitted to MagicParkNews by the Trip Hub. You can remove it with each tool’s reset control or by clearing site data in your browser.
Hosting and network providers may process standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request details, for security and delivery. External links—including Disney, news publishers, Wikimedia Commons, affiliates and the Book a Trip service—open third-party sites governed by their own privacy practices and terms.
Commercial disclosures
Affiliate placements are labeled “Affiliate” and state when MagicParkNews may earn a commission. The Book a Trip button opens an independent third-party travel service; MagicParkNews does not complete bookings on this website.
